The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2022
These Regulations amend the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007 to set the targets for recycling packaging waste that obligated producers must meet for 2023.
The packaging waste business recycling targets have been rolled over to 2023 for all packaging materials. This allows for businesses to prepare for the introduction of Extended Producer Responsibility in 2024.
