The Sustainability for the Future - "DAERA’s Plan to 2050" has been approved by the DAERA Minister Edwin Poots. Its key priorities and goals have been developed in conjunction with DAERA business areas and approved by the Departmental Board.

This is an ambitious plan that frames the Department’s work for the next three decades. It showcases some of the high-level work that the Department aims to deliver in improving the lives of our people, supporting our communities and businesses and in continuing to protect and enhance our natural environment. Sustainability for the Future outlines our roadmap for the next three decades and is supported by the Green Growth Strategy.
